With the support of DGB-BW BILS organized a three days long `Advanced Training for Trade Union Leadership` on June 21-23, 2022 at Asian SR Hotel, Chattogram.<\/p>\n

Enhancing the TU leadership capacity is the main objective of the training. Separate issue-based sessions were conducted during this 3-days event including a panel discussion. Different NTUC\u2019s leaders are attending the training. All participants were awarded with BILS certificates for successfully concluding the training.<\/p>\n

BILS LRSC Coordination Committee Chairman A M Nazimuddin chaired the closing session while BILS Vice Chairman Anwar Hossain, \u00a0BILS-LRSC CCC Committee Member-Secretary Md. Safar Ali, Member Tapan Dutta, Professor of the Department of Law at Chittagong University Dr. Muhammed Shahin Chowdhury, Assistant Professor of the department of the Social Work Mustafiz Ahmed, BILS Director & Project Coordinator Kohinoor Mahmood, BILS-LRSC Information & Documentation Officer Pahari Bhattacharjee, Program Officer Rizwanur Rahman Khan, BILS Information Officer Mamun Or Rashid, BILS-LRSC Assistant Program Officer Fazlul Kabir Mintu attended and conducted the several session.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>On the opening day BILS Program officer Rizwanur Rahman Khan briefed the participants on the aim and object of this training program. Then, BILS Director and Project Coordinator Kohinoor Mahmood conducted a session on \u201cFuture Trade Union Challenges: Role of Activists\u201d. Then, a session on \u201cLabour Scenario: Recent Appointment Tendency, Gig Economy & Outsourcing\u201d was conducted by Assistant Professor of the department of the Social Work Mustafiz Ahmed. Another session on the \u201c4th Industrial Revolution\u201d was also conducted by him.<\/p>\n

On the second day, a session on \u201cNational Work Plan on Labour Issues 2021-2026\u201d was conducted by BILS director and project coordinator Kohinoor Mahmood. Then, BILS Assistant Program Officer Fazlul Kabir Mintu conducted a \u201cSocial Dialogue\u201d session. A session on \u201cCollective Bargaining\u201d was conducted BILS Program Officer Rizwanur Rahman Khan.<\/p>\n

On the third day, a session on \u201cEffective Communication: Listening and Writing Skill and Speech\u201d was conducted by BILS Information and Documentation Officer Pahari Bhattacharjee. Later, another session on \u201cUse of Social Media & Networking\u201d was conducted by BILS Information Officer Mamun Or Rashid.<\/p>\n

A panel discussion on \u201cTrade Union Challenges : Way Out\u201d was presided over by BILS-LRSC Chairman Labour leader A M Nazimuddin. Member-Secretary, CCC Committee of BILS-LRSC Md. Safar Ali delivered the opening speech. In this panel discussion, BILS Vice Chairman Anwar Hossain, labour leader Tapan Datta, Professor Muhammed Shahin Chowdhury, Journalist Osman and Md.
